Telex SR-400 17-Channel Assisted Listening Receiver
This 16-channel belt pack receiver is part of the Telex SoundMate personal listening system used by the hearing-impaired in hotels, churches, and exhibit booths to overcome background noise and poor building acoustics that make listening difficult.
The SR-400's advanced digital PLL synthesizer tunes to all 17 narrow-band frequencies in the 72-76 MHz band, while compatibility with the E.D.R. feature in the ST-300 transmitter ensures improved sound quality, and a special high frequency contour filter and boost switch increase intelligibility of audio signals. Paired with the HED-2 lightweight headphone, it is even compatible with a variety of hearing aid styles.
