Digidesign FWx Firewire Option Card for VENUE Systems
This FireWire Record/Playback Option for VENUE systems allows integration of a Digidesign®Pro Tools® LE system with your VENUE system, allowing you to record and archive live performances, and to integrate pre-recorded Pro Tools tracks with live inputs.
By combining the recording and playback features of the FWx Option, you can also perform Virtual Soundchecks: play back the tracks you recorded the night before and adjust the mix before a performance or rehearsal.

FWx Record/Playback Option & Pro Tools LE System Requirements
The following are required to use the FWx Recording/Playback Option:
• A D-Show system with D-Show software 1.0 or higher and an FWx card that has already been installed and connected correctly.
• A laptop or desktop computer running Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OS X 10.4, or Mac OS X 10.5, with an available FireWire port.
• A compatible version of Pro Tools LE 6.7 or higher for Windows XP, Pro Tools LE 6.9.2 or higher for Mac OS X 10.4, Pro Tools LE 7.4 or higher for Windows Vista, Pro Tools LE 7.4.2 or higher for Mac OS X 10.5.
Digidesign Pro Tools LE hardware (such as Digi 002 or Mbox) is NOT required.
Digidesign Hardware Supplied with FWx Option
• FWx FireWire Option Card
• 4-to-6 pin FireWire Cable (12')
HDx cards and an FWx card cannot be installed simultaneously.

• Pro Tools LE 7.4.2 or higher for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
• Pro Tools LE 7.4 or higher for Windows Vista
