Wohler VMDA-4 Audio Monitor Panel
This digital and analog audio monitor is compact and light. It offers selectable monitoring of either four stereo analog or four AES/EBU digital audio sources, with excellent full-range fidelity. Two front-firing midrange-tweeter speakers and a compact high-performance woofer are arranged in a bi-amp design.
Limiters protect the speaker systems against blow-out, while the summed bass feature allows audible detection of “out of phase” conditions. Electronic rather than acoustic cancellation of bass frequencies provides positive audible detection of out-of-phase (reversed polarity) audio feeds.
The VMDA-4 is magnetically shielded for interference-free operation immediately adjacent to all CRT video monitors. Its lightweight and shallow-depth chassis make it ideal for portable and mobile vehicle applications.
