Taking full advantage of a 10-bit/36MHz Digital Signal Processing (DSP) camera and the Betacam SP format VTR, this camera is positioned as the high quality Betacam SP one-piece camcorder for ENG/EFP applications.
Thanks to the use of a Setup Card, camera setup parameters can be stored, enabling instant recall of previous settings and matching of cameras for multi-camera productions.
Incorporating three 2/3-inch Hyper HAD 1000 FIT CCDS, the BVW-D600 achieves a depth of modulation of approximately 70% at 5MHz, sensitivity of F8.0 and a signal-to-noise ratio of 62dB.
