Ewa-Marine TV 182 Splash Bag
This waterproof housing is for ENG-style cameras and digital camcorders. It allows camera use in adverse conditions, protecting from surf, spray, storms, high tropical humidity, dust and sand. It can also be used in "clean room" environments, sterile areas (e.g. medical applications), and areas of chemical contamination or risk of explosion. Cameras are protected by the housing's simple, but very safe and most effective, maintenance-free seal.
All lens and camera functions can be operated while the camera is in the housing. For example, "fingers" in various positions allow smooth adjustment of zoom and lens. All controls and displays are visible from the outside. The viewfinder can be used either horizontally (camera on shoulder), vertically (camera under water with the cameraman standing above water level) or at any angle in between. A special, highly transparent foil allows a clear look into the view finder.
Advantages of this flexible housing over a hard aluminium or polycarbonate housing include light weight, small packing volume, and buoyancy; the housing will float with the camera inside. For shallow diving, it is fitted with clip-on belts for adding weights.
The TV 182 fits camera systems 21.25" to 25.5" long as measured from the back of the battery to the front of the lens.
Its depth rating is 15 feet.
