Sony CCU-D50 Camera Control Unit
This system has been designed to accommodate sophisticated functions such as RS-232 data and SDI required by digital cameras . It allows up to 150M SDI transmissions with a single CCZA-D cable and up to 200m with an external 75 ohm low-loss coaxial cable. This system uses the digital 76-pin interface connector provided on DXC-D30, DXC-D35, DXC-D50 series cameras to transfer from the DSP to SDI without ever going through the analog mode, thus preserving digital component video quality.
The associated CA-D50 camera adapter allows a teleprompter and SDI outputs.
