This compact, rugged portable device supports a wide variety of lighting and show control systems, visualizers, and other entertainment applications, opening exciting new possibilities in the world of lighting control networks.
A powerful processor and protocol stack support a comprehensive set of networking standards in addition to today’s manufacturer-specific and open “DMX over Ethernet” protocols. This exceptional level of connectivity enables DMX input and output from a wide variety of lighting control systems from industry-leading manufacturers. The EMX2/10 supports 10BaseT and all the standard network protocols for easy integration with most Ethernet topologies.
While the SandBox EMX2/10 works well in small stand-alone systems with only one or two devices, its SandNet operating system is designed for applications requiring extensive network processing, management, and monitoring of a large number of different consoles, dimmers, moving lights, scrollers, and other DMX devices.
