IST 50" IR Touchscreen Frame
This touchscreen overlay makes any LCD or plasma display come to life. It fits attractively around any 50" plasma or LED display and will not reduce viewing area or distort, obscure or dim the image in any way. Powder-coated for a scratch-resistant finish, the touch panel bezel does not interfere with the display's features such as audio, mounting, input signal, remote control, or power.
It can be connected to Windows, MAC, or Unix based systems via RS-232 or USB, with drivers allowing full mouse emulation via the touch system interface. General mouse functions – clicking, dragging, double clicking, and right clicking – are provided, while the computer’s mouse is unaffected and performs as usual.
Optional connection to an industrial DVD player using a DB9 to DB15 connector is available; current DVD players supported are Pioneer models V7200 and V7400.
With single-touch technology, the ISTTOUCH infrared touch screen forms an invisible grid of infrared light over the display surface. When a stylus, finger, or plastic rod breaks the light beams , the ISTTOUCH Screen's controller sends the coordinates to the computer. If the user interrupts multiple light beams, the software averages the touch to the center of the area.
